A supportive, hands-on session in a lively studio environment.

Make your own silver studs from start to finish in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop. You’ll begin by experimenting with brass and copper, learning how to texture metal before moving on to shaping and soldering. You’ll then move on to create your studs. You’ll leave with a finished pair of silver studs.

No prior experience is needed — our expert tutors guide you through each step.
A perfect introduction to jewellery making before committing to a longer course.

What to bring/expect

  • We’ll provide everything you’ll need for your Simple Silver Studs Taster Workshop, including silver, copper and brass.
  • Please bring along glasses if you need them
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes. Why not order yourself a CSSJ apron to make you feel right at home in your workshop?
  • If you have long hair, please wear it up
  • Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied
