Colourful Statement Earrings

Level: Beginners

In this Colourful Statement Earrings workshop, you will learn how to design and make a vibrant pair of contemporary earrings using anodised aluminium. This beginner-friendly jewellery making class explores colour, pattern and texture through a series of hands-on techniques.

Working with pre-anodised aluminium sheets, you’ll discover a range of decorative techniques including stamping, dip dyeing and forming. Aluminium is lightweight, durable and colourfast, making it ideal for vibrant jewellery designs. You’ll produce a series of colourful samples before selecting your favourites to turn into a finished pair of earrings.

This jewellery workshop is suitable for complete beginners, with clear demonstrations and step-by-step guidance throughout. If you already have some experience with aluminium jewellery and would like to explore the material in more depth, we also run an Intermediate Aluminium Jewellery course. To be added to the waiting list, please email hello@cssj.co.uk.

You’ll Explore:

  • Decorative stamping and texturing
  • Dip-dye techniques for layered colour effects
  • Cutting, shaping and forming aluminium
  • How to attach sterling silver findings to your pieces

Your tutor:

Through years of weekly classes and specialist masterclasses, she has developed strong technical skills and a distinctive creative style. Now working under her own label, White Loch Jewellery, Trisha is CSSJ’s specialist tutor in aluminium jewellery and colourful contemporary design.
