Description
Silver Stud Earrings Taster
Sat 22nd August 2026, Â 2pm – 5.30pm
Level: Beginners
Join us for a busy and bustling stud earrings, taster workshop for a bite-sized introduction to all the basic skills involved in making silver jewellery. We’ll work first in copper as we experiment with texture, using our vast collection of hammers, punches, and everyone’s favourite, the rolling mill. We’ll use shape punches, saws, and doming blocks to cut and form our metal. When we’re happy with our designs, we’ll move on to create a unique pair of silver studs. Our expert tutors will be on hand to help you every step of the way, from mastering the tools to developing a creative design. No previous experience or artistic flair necessary, jewellery making is for everyone!
This 3.5 hour workshop is suitable for all levels and for ages 16 and above. In order to keep the price low, this session is designed for a full class of 12, so the studio will be busy! However, everyone will leave with a pair of silver studs they have designed and made themselves. If you are looking for a more relaxed introductory class, then please see our selection of full-day and two-day workshops.
