Well, we can’t be accused of overloading you with information – it looks like Christmas was the last time we updated our blog! It’s been a busy five months and we’re all a bit stunned that it’s June!
Evening classes are drawing to a close in a couple of weeks and we are starting to see some very accomplished and creative pieces nearing completion. The September term has been added to the website – but be quick if you are thinking of joining us. So many current students are continuing that we only have a few spots available for new students.
The summer is usually a little quieter here at the School however the School will be taking part in Forth Valley Open Studios which runs from 9th – 17th of June. We’re only opening on the weekends but feel free to pop in with all of your jewellery related questions. There will be coffee, biscuits and some staff and students work to view.
There is one weekend workshop planned – Stacking Rings on the 7th of July however there might be the chance of a couple of drop in sessions over the summer to keep the creative juices flowing! Keep an eye on our social media for updates. Tutor Jo Pudelko will also be teaching at Leith School of Art from the 13-17th of August and at the Cromarty Arts Trust on the 24-26th of August.
We’ll be back with a full schedule in September. We’re currently planning our next installments of weekend workshops so please get in touch to suggest any particular technique you are keen to learn – we’ll see what we can do!
