Peace Pin

Join us for a relaxed half-day Christmas workshop and create your own Peace Pin – a handmade dove lapel pin to wear, keep or give as a meaningful gift. A supportive, hands-on session in a lively studio environment.
Working in brass or copper, you’ll learn how to saw your dove from sheet metal before refining and finishing the shape by hand. You can keep your design simple or experiment with texture and add a silver embellishment to make your pin unique.
During the workshop you’ll learn a range of traditional jewellery-making skills including sawing, texturing, soldering and finishing, making this a lovely introduction to working with metal as well as an opportunity for more experienced makers to enjoy a festive project. You’ll leave with your finished dove pin, ready to wear or give as a Christmas gift.

What to bring:

We’ll provide everything you will need to make your Peace Pin.

Please bring along glasses and/or a visor if you need them.

Wear appropriate clothing for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring your own lidded cup for use in the studio.
