Leather Jewellery with S.K. Works
Saturday 11th July 2026
Design and make your own leather jewellery in this hands-on weekend workshop led by S.K. Works, a multidisciplinary leather and screen-printing studio based in Midlothian, Scotland.
Working with high-quality leather, you’ll learn core techniques including cutting, shaping and finishing, creating a small collection of bespoke earrings. You’ll also explore creative design approaches and surface treatments, gaining confidence with traditional hand tools along the way.
This workshop places a strong emphasis on resourceful making. You’ll work with carefully selected off-cuts and surplus leather, transforming them into beautiful, wearable pieces. All materials are provided, including British-sourced leather and eco-conscious supplies.
You’ll also learn how to professionally combine leather elements with sterling silver findings, ensuring your finished work is both refined and durable.

About your tutors
S.K. Works are a multidisciplinary studio specialising in leatherwork, screen printing and hand-painted leather goods. Working from their Midlothian-based workshop, they focus on high-quality, responsibly sourced materials, including vegetable-tanned leathers, Scottish waxed canvas and eco-friendly inks.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided. We do not have a dedicated lunch area, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat at your desk, or we’re happy to recommend nearby places to eat.
