Subscription Courses and Instalment Payments
Some courses at the Central Scotland School of Jewellery are offered through a monthly instalment subscription. By purchasing a subscription product, you agree to the following terms.
Instalment payments
Subscriptions are billed monthly using the payment method provided at checkout. Payments will continue automatically each month for the duration of the subscription unless cancelled by the school or the subscription reaches its scheduled end date.
Commitment period
Where a subscription is offered as a 12-month instalment plan, the total course fee is divided into twelve monthly payments. By enrolling, you agree to complete the full payment schedule.
Renewal and rebooking
Existing students are offered a priority rebooking window before places are released to the public. During this period, students should inform the school if they do not intend to continue for the following term.
Withdrawal
If a student wishes to withdraw from a course, they must notify the school during the rebooking window. This allows the school sufficient time to offer the place to another student.
Where notice is received within the rebooking window, the subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current term and no further payments will be taken.
Missed payments
If a scheduled payment fails, the system may automatically retry the payment. Continued failure to complete payments may result in suspension or cancellation of the subscription.
Price protection
Students paying by subscription will not be affected by course price increases during the active subscription period. The monthly instalment amount agreed at the time of enrolment will remain fixed for the duration of the subscription.
Student discounts
An active course subscription confirms student status with the Central Scotland School of Jewellery. This may enable access to certain industry discounts available to jewellery students, including supplier discounts where applicable.
Refunds
Instalment payments already made are non-refundable except where a course is cancelled by the school.
Course changes
The school reserves the right to adjust course schedules or tutors where necessary.
