ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in Dunblane – the picturesque and historic town is well worth a visit. If you are visiting for a workshop why not extend your stay to take in the city and it’s beautiful surroundings.
The town itself is steeped in history, boasting not only the majestic Cathedral but also the country’s first ever lending Library, and of course Andy Murray’s gold post box! Located just off the A9 it is an easy drive to a multitude of stunning highland beauty spots, making it a perfect launchpad for hill walking, climbing, canoeing and most importantly, artistic inspiration! We’re surrounded by countryside, with woodland walks, riverside rambles and an abundance of creative inspiration right on our doorstep. You can set off out the back gate and walk for hours exploring the warren of paths without even setting foot on a pavement, and we’re a short hop by car or public transport to the Highlands. There are a number of nearby options for accommodation in Dunblane.
CROMLIX HOTEL
Cromlix is owned by Kim and Andy Murray. Nestled in the scenic Scottish countryside just three miles from Dunblane, Cromlix is located in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and landscaped garden grounds with its own chapel, loch and of course, tennis courts. The hotel offers 15 bedrooms plus a Laurel Gate Lodge, The Glasshouse Restaurant, Bar and several gorgeous private dining & meeting rooms.
We were delighted to play our part in their recent renovation by making some beautiful etched brass key fobs as a finishing touch. All of the rooms at Cromlix are named after Scottish flowers, so the fobs have the name etched on one side and a silhouette of the plant on the other.
