Description
Layered Wood & Acrylic Jewellery
Level: Beginners and Beyond
Create a bold, contemporary piece of jewellery in this eco-conscious workshop, working with reclaimed wood, reclaimed acrylic and 100% recycled silver. Using carefully selected offcuts from sustainably sourced wood, you’ll discover how leftover materials can be transformed into elegant, refined forms, while transparent and opaque acrylic offcuts add a gem-like quality and confident pops of colour.
You’ll explore stacking, shaping and finishing techniques to build your design into smooth, pebble-like curves or crisp, graphic geometries, suitable for pendants, earrings or beads. This workshop celebrates thoughtful making and modern design, showing how reclaimed materials can sit comfortably within a polished, contemporary aesthetic.
Finish your piece by pairing it with a brightly coloured cord, a sterling silver chain, or silver ear wires — choosing the combination that best complements your design.
