While it can be a challenging material to work with, this immersive masterclass will give you the expert guidance and confidence to master its unique properties. You’ll start by experimenting with samples to get a feel for the metal, followed by creating a small finished piece such as a pendant, earrings, or brooch. By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with your own colourful creation—completely unique and crafted by hand. This workshop is ideal for jewellery makers with some prior experience who are looking to expand their skill set and experiment with a bold, contemporary material. Whether you’re looking to diversify your creative repertoire or simply try something new, titanium offers endless possibilities.
What to bring:
- We’ll provide everything you need for your torch-fired titanium jewellery workshop with the exception of silver findings, which can be purchased during the workshop
- Please bring along glasses if you need them
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes. Why not treat yourself to a CSSJ-branded apron to make you feel right at home?
- If you have long hair, please wear it up

- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied. Bring your own lunch to eat in the studio, or we can advise you of nearby places to eat
