This jewellery workshop is an ideal introduction to making rings out of silver and an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of jewellery making including manipulating silver and soldering.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of wire. Students will practice this technique before moving on to complete a set of three stacking rings. Different textures and finishes can be applied to allow each student to create an individually designed set of rings.
Base metals and silver are provided and the tutor will be on hand to work with students one-to-one guiding them through the designing and making of their rings. All tools and materials are provided.
9:30am – 4:30 pm with a break for lunch. Lunch is not provided but you are welcome to bring a lunch to eat in the studio. We can also recommend places nearby to buy a lunch.
**Please note: classes may be cancelled due to lack of attendees. In the unlikely event, you will be fully refunded and notified the day before the class is scheduled**
