Silver Bangles Day Workshop Level: Suitable for all
About the course: Join us in a relaxed and friendly workshop where you will learn to size, shape, hammer, and solder a sterling silver bangle, made entirely using traditional silversmithing skills. Suitable for complete beginners and well as students looking to expand their skills, this workshop makes an ideal introduction to jewellery making.
Participants will be shown how to use various hammers and techniques to add different finishes and textures to your bangle including roll printing.
What to bring: We’ll provide all the things you will need to make your beautiful bangle including tools and silver however if you want to make a particularly wide bangle, extra silver can be purchased (at cost price).
Please bring along glasses if you need them and wear appropriate clothing for a studio environment including closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair please wear it up and bring a cloth face mask to wear if required. If you are the type of person who prefers to arm yourself with some knowledge ahead of time then we have prepared a Pinterest page filled with jewellery making information and roll printing inspiration just for you!
Lunch is not provided but you can bring a lunch to eat in the studio or we can advise you of nearby places to buy a lunch. Refreshments provided.
**Please note: classes may be cancelled due to lack of attendees. In the unlikely event, you will be fully refunded and notified the day before the class is scheduled**
