A jewellery workshop suitable for all levels (including complete beginners) this workshop is an ideal introduction to making rings out of silver and an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of jewellery making including manipulating silver and soldering.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make basic rings out of wire and sheet metal. Students will practice this technique before moving on to complete a spinner ring with moving wire components. Different textures and finishes can be applied to the spinning rings to make your ring completely unique.
Base metals and silver are provided and the tutor will be on hand to work with students one-to-one guiding them through the designing and making of their rings. All tools and materials are provided.
9.30am – 4.30pm with a break for lunch. Lunch is not provided but students are welcome to bring a lunch to eat in the studio. We can also recommend places nearby to buy a lunch. Refreshments are provided.
**Please note: classes may be cancelled due to lack of attendees. In the unlikely event, you will be fully refunded and notified the day before the class is scheduled**
