Description
Hollow Silver Rings Workshop
Saturday 5th July
Join us for a comprehensive one-day hollow silver ring workshop and create a perfectly puffy statement ring that is bold and sculptural but deceptively lightweight and comfortable to wear. We’ll begin by exploring texture using our rolling mill and vast selection of hammers and punches. We’ll practise in copper until you find a design you like, then move on to fabricating your finished ring in silver. Learn how to measure your ring size, form it into shape, and solder it, then create volume using our doming blocks and yet more hammers! This simple but effective process is a great one for complete beginners or for more experienced jewellers who would like to add a new technique to their repertoire.Â
Level: Suitable for all
What to bring:
