Aluminium Jewellery with Jenna McDonald

£40

This workshop explores the decorative colouring of anodised aluminium which is perfect for jewellery making, sculpture and other craft projects. Students will learn about the anodising process and be introduced to a variety of fun and creative techniques which will include direct colouring using pens, rubber stamps and other easy to use materials. All students will have a completed aluminium cuff bangle by the end of the session.

Tuesday 5th April – 1pm- 4.30pm

Stamping, Rolling & Hammering

£40

This busy, noisy and exciting workshop will be all about patterns. Students will learn how to stamp shapes and letters in to metal, use various hammers to build up texture and how to create pattern on metal with a rolling mill. Students will make their own personalised ‘dog tag’ pendants.

Wednesday 6th April – 1pm – 4.30pm

Precious Metal Clay

£50

Especially suited for budding miniaturists, this session introduces the fascinating properties of Silver Clay. The clay-like material is easy to manipulate by hand and is perfect for producing little shapes and forms. As the clay dries, the water evaporates and the organic binder burns away during firing to leave pure silver. Students will make two silver charms that could be added to a bracelet or anklet.

Classes can be purchased separately or £110 for the full three-day block. If you would like to purchase a stand alone class please email Natalie at: hello@cssj.co.uk.

Juice, water and biscuits will be provided however please ensure your child has had lunch before the workshop.
