Christmas Enamel Baubles

About the course: A fun and festive day workshop learning the magic of enamelling, this class is suitable for everyone over the age of 16. Students will learn how to prepare metal before enamelling, applying colour and textures, and then how to use the kiln to fire their pieces. The workshop will cover a range of decorative techniques such as sifting and stencilling to create unique, beautiful Christmas Baubles, perfect as special gifts.
What to bring: We’ll provide all the things you will need to start making amazing enamelled baubles including tools and copper. However, if you want to make a particularly large piece or additional pieces, extra materials can be purchased directly from the School at cost price.
Please bring along glasses if you need them and wear appropriate, warm clothing for a studio environment including closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair please wear it up. If you are the type of person who prefers to arm yourself with some knowledge ahead of time then we have prepared a Pinterest board filled with enamel information and inspiration just for you!
Lunch is not provided and due to enamel powders, you can not eat in the studio. However we can advise you of nearby places on the High Street for tasty treats.
