Description
Sea Glass Christmas Tree Workshop
Sunday 14th December
Level: Beginners
Join us for a fun and festive introduction to jewellery making, using foraged beach treasure to create your own sea glass Christmas Tree! We’ll show you how to use wire to form the stand of your tree, safely drill your pieces of sea glass using special drill bits, and finally disc cut and solder to form the star on top. Bring along your favourite pieces of foraged sea glass to create a uniquely festive ornament!
What to bring
- We’ll provide everything from tools to precious metals; you are encouraged to bring along your own sea glass finds to create your personal Christmas Tree. However we have sea glass in the studio to use if not.
- Please bring along glasses if you need them
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes. Why not order yourself a CSSJ apron to make you feel right at home in your workshop?
- If you have long hair, please wear it up
- Tea, coffee, and festive treats are supplied
